The gero-psychiatric clinic was commissioned by Clara Maass Medical Center to support the partial hospitalization program of their psychiatric services manager, Horizon Health Care. 

The partial hospitalization program is an outpatient, psychiatric day-treatment program intended for older adults who are experiencing distressing emotional symptoms that interfere with their ability to function.  The program provides a structured, short-term treatment intended to identify stresses, alleviate symptoms, and find solutions to psychiatric disorders.

The facility includes a reception area, group therapy room, day room, counseling rooms and an occupational therapy room
